#62443 - storing info on a 8952 from a PC
I am looking for some way to move information (names of people ) from a visual basic program, and store it on a 8951. I have a programmer (based off the atmel ISP programmer) and i have used the Atmel microcontroller ISP software to write my code to the chip in the past. The problem is that in this project i do not want the user to have to run through these programs to load the "names" info to the 8951 I just want to have them press a button in the visual basic interface and the program will upload the text names ( converted to a hex value of course) to the 8951, and store it anywhere. If any one has a suggestion to this , or knows another way i can upload the same information to say a eeprom ( 28c256 ) and then another 8951 can access that, that would work also. thanks a bunch if any one can provide ANYTHING :)
