I think Mr Tim has a need to have the names available to his application running on his microcontroller. Just because his post did not state the use of the names in the target does not mean that this thread should be allowed to wonder off to banter about no microcontroller. Goodness, what good is an EEPROM hanging by wires off a PC parallel port going to do this gentleman, who in all likelyhood intends to use those names for some display purpose any one of 100 other possibilities.
He did a rather good job stating what he wanted help with while at the same time not clouding the issue with other stuff that was not applicable. Michael Karas |
