#62447 - RE: storing info on a 8952 from a PC Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Simple......use large sized serial EEPROM(s) for data storage. Then attach them to the processor pins in a manner suitable for a bit bang software interface. Then write code to accept packets of one name per packet over the serial port and write the name into the serial EEPROM. Configure the Visual Basic program to export the name data out the PC serial port as an ASCII string in a properly formatted packet.
Connect a cable from PC to microcontroller board, press the button in VB application and "let the names move" !!! Michael Karas |
