Hallo Paul,
what we need is an as complete schematic as possible. Also, it would be nice if we could hear from you, what you have plant to do with this board. By the way, magazin ''ELECTOR" has published some articles arround an 8052AH project between 1987 and 1990. There was also published a PCB, which can be bought directly from ELECTOR. May be this could be of great help for you? One article dealed with the switch from supply current hungry 8052AH to a 80C32 in combination with EPROM, while 8052AH itself was used to read out the code and transmit it via RS232 to PC. After burning the EPROM, 8052AH was removed and circuit run afterwards with 80C32 and EPROM only. With today microcontrollers it would be a pleasure to put the whole code into a FLASH micro. Some of them contain even a big RAM!!! So, the resultant PCB could be made very tiny. I think Erik focused on a certain type in a former reply... Good luck, Kai PS.: Spend your major time for your college. There's nothing more important than a good education... |
