Yes, but this mag core was ROM not RAM, and it wasn't programmable AT ALL, except by sewing !

Funnily enough I too have some PDP8 core boards from a computer junked in 1984/85.

I did have my eyes on a PDP 11 - the progenitor of many microprocessor architectures, but my friend scrapped it without giving me a chance. Bastard.
