1) A memory chip which is not "chip enabled" AND "read enabled" present itself as an input to the bus and does thus not interfere.
2)No, but you will see funny stuff ahppening with such a scheme. 3) the grab bag value is 10k; however it depends on what you have on the bus. Note that if it is memory only, pullups are not needed. Coming to think of it, I wonder why; nevertheless that is the standard design. --- the only times I have seen the '245 in '51 designs are older memory-mapped I/O designs from before economical CPLD's came out. |
