you can see when the second word starts by the 1-to-0 transition on the 9th bit;
but how do you tell where the second word ends, and the third begins, since the 9th bit now stays at zero?
and so on for the remaining bytes of the packet?

How do you distinguish between two (or more) successive words with the same value in a packet?

In other words, how do you clock each word into your FIFO?
