You are not getting it.
No one has said that your two FIFO scheme will not work.
Everyone has said it is absolute overkill.

You keep trying to get someone to "bless" a design that is
too costly
too fast
too resource greedy (pins)
too 'old' (the move these days is from parallel to serial).

If you want to go ahead and build a patriot missile to kill the blasted sparrow, go ahead, but do not ask for our 'blessing' of using the wrong approach.
