the use of PID is to regulate the output of the system
in order to do that ,the error between set and actual values is input to the system
this way the system corrects itself and becomes equal to set value

i think ur suggestion to use dOut / dError would put instability into the system
think that dError is 0 for some time
then the valve output , which controls the system would go to infinity
