Most times I used to want to respond to every post that I get as a reply to my query. Compared to what you have achieved, my efforts are nothing.

Coming to your issue of measurement:

You said in one of the replies that you want to achieve 1 deg C precision. Just ensure that you use a sensor that has a very fast response - these are sensors that abosrb very little heat from the object being sensed to make the measurement.

A word of caution on using multiple sensors: You are entering a domain of thermal profiling and if your idea is to reach a SINGLE temperature for logging - you ARE increasing your computational load !!
