Thank you very much for reminding me to read the data sheets once again, I had missed out on quite a few important points, due to my over confidence! Actually there was a bug in my C code which twiddles the bits, shifting in and out of the AD7718, now I am able to read the 24 bits of data from the chip. And I have correctly understood, the software reset part only after reading your posts and implemented the same. Regards, John. |
