True, they will be immune to viruses (vira? viri?) targetted at MS-IE and Outlook, but I'm sure that other products have their own vulnerabilities... It's just that MS-IE, Outlook, et al are easy targets becuase they're so widespread (note - I didn't say "popular!"). It has been said that *NIX is no more nor less secure than Windoze per se - it's just that *NIX systems tend to be in the hands of people who understand what they're doing, and how to protect against attacks... |
