As the virus is spread through email, the user must have opened an email-attachment as indicated in one of the web pages of my previous post. The program in the attachment then propagates itself by sending mails to people in the outlook-address book using other sender-addresses found in the same address book. Since both (forged) sender address _AND_ destination address are people on this forum, it means that it is very likely that the actual infected pc belongs to a visitor of this forum (not necessarily a registerd member).

I thought the owner of the infected PC might want to know this.

I am myself quite virus-free as I have been using Linux since 1999.:-D
