Deepak,

You mention you are putting in 1n4007 diode - is this across the relay? As mentioned previously, the ULN2003 has these diodes built in - for exactly this purpose. Put pin 9 to your power rail (6V). Apart from saving a few cents for the extra diodes, it makes your pcb easier to design.
