3) Use hardware, CPLD or 8051(eg. DS80C400) that can suppport 1-wire peripheral:
There are bus master chips that accept serial, paralell, some others, which take care of all the timing etc, you just send and receive values. In this case it doesn't matter if your MCU runs at 1Hz or at 1GHz. |
