Are you absolutely sure you're talking about 0.12nanoseconds?
If the pulse to be measured is repetitive, you can use averaging techniques to achieve this. If not, then I'm afraid your only option is a counter with an 8GHz clock. I'll have a look at my archives to see if I can come up with some reference material regarding averaging. Hewlett-Packard had some good application notes on this. Regards, Rob. |
