Ever so often we see posts like this one, basically "is the chip any good". Just a little reasoning should immediately come up with the answer "if it weren't, they would not sell millions of the things".
We have all been in situations where we were grabbing for straws, simply because our reasoning could not bring us to the right conclusion. I find that the two most common reasons for questions like the above are a) Underinstrumentation. This one is often seen at startups. There are cases that will take superhuman abilities to solve if you do not have an ICE and a scope. b) Fatigue. So often when the deadline looms (or, as usual, has passed) we work and work and get nowhere. I have learned to adhere to one rule: However bad it is do not work Sundays. Erik |
