Hello

I am building a prototype for use with a 3V device.This board also has 5V components.Will there be any problem if I use a 7805 regulator with a resistor potential divider to get the 3V. The flash EEPROM can accept between 2.7 ~ 3.3 V tolerance.

Is there any design flaw in the above which can give problems ? I can use a high value resistor to reduce the current consumption.
