We're not understanding yet. Perhaps you need to develop your skills in describing problems; it will pay great rewards in problem solving as well.
Do you have 40 independent input conductors? Is the data valid on all conductors at the same time? Is there a signal (clock or strobe) which indicates that data is valid? Is an 'acknowledge' signal expected to indicate the data was received? Or, is there only one signal, with the 40 data bits presented sequentially? Is the sequential data arriving at fixed times, or is there an accompanying clock? eagerly awaiting clarification.... -Mike |
