A: the one that fits the particular project best.
I am currenly involved with a 4Mb project (not on a '51 :-)) which is done completely in OO, that does not mean that a little thing I did in 782 bytes of ROM on a '51 should be done in OO. There is WAY too much "one size fits all" going on.
