#76943 - The brain association - Kiran Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Kiran,
It was nice to read your post. The aspect of awarding points has its pros and cons. As long as it is handled in the right spirit without intentional abuse, I think any such scheme is fine in encouraging HEALTHY participation. As to your note on the differences between your assumed image and my actual image I think I can explain the reason. The human brain has a high sense of associtivity ( not sure if I spelled it correctly :-( meaning it can correlate two totally unrelated things but with a common sensory link and recreate an image. - You have a uncle who is fat and very kind and jovial. The next time you meet a person who IS fat you EXPECT hime to behave like your uncle. - Perfumes / smell and music will top the list when it comes to associtivity. I don't think I need explain this. They have the power to transport you into the past or alter your mood if you are sensitive enough. So go ahead - whether its a sharp moustache or not I am your dear friend as always ! Raghu |
