If the designers justifiably decided that you had no reason to read those registers, why would they add the logic to read them?

So you are saying that the registers WFEED1 = 0x0A5; WFEED2 = 0x05A; are actually being written to, but their values do not appear on that little window?...
I wonder why this is not working, I mean it is generating the interrupt and reset as you said and as the manual says, but why my feeding sequence is not working? and wdt is underflowing every 2.5 sec.
