<i.I will increment a wdt_counter++ and then it will reset the program as you and the manual say. Makes sense or not?
Not really
1) the counter will be lost at power fail
2) you should NEVER have the dog bite you, counting instances make no sense when ONE is too many.
3) the only case I can think of where a bite may be correct and non-erroneous would be a very special case of powetr corruption, but the brownout detect should be the real catch for that.
