#79610 - RE: A little off topic Responding to: ???'s previous message |
hi,
it should run at 25-30 Mhz in a bog standard FPGA which at 1 instruction per clock cycle makes it equivelent to a standard 8051 running at about 300-360 Mhz. There are SiLabs high-performance 8051 derivatives which have peak productivity about 100MIPS and alot of additional features. And it all for about 10...20USD. What is the reason to do that`s already done? Regards, Oleg |
