Hi Cory,

you can spend some hours to make the circuit pcb friendly. But you earn nothing but only your boss looking impatient to the deadline.

I tried to do also with a CPLD. But now I found, its better to let the pin assignment made automatically for best fit into the CPLD, not into the pcb. Since then more unused macro cells available for improvements or bug fixing.
