Because of the internal pull-up resistors P3.6 and P3.7 are high even if not connected to +5V. There's no internal pull-up resistor, but only a very weak active pull-up. And sometimes this very weak pull-up is not enough to guarantee proper and noise free logical high level... Do you mean by fresh an erased one? No, I just mean another, brand new exemplar. Kai |
