But they do not state where to take this special care and why! That's total bullshit!! Yes they should say why, but as you've probably guessed, it's likely to be due to faster memory accesses when running in a clock-reduced mode. Some derivatives have the means to alter their external memory access timing for compatibility with slower memory (mapped) devices. Lacking that, you've got to make sure your design accommodates the faster timing. |
