I disagree, the button can also be used as standard input such as a play/stop. However, it will have to be debounced. 50ms is to switch between play and stop. 2000ms to turn off the device How are you going to "debounce 2000ms to turn off the device" and make a push turn the device on when your "debouncer" (uC) is off?. You have two very different situations. Also, do you want the thingy to start playing after 50ms and turn off after 2000ms if someone want to turn it off when stopped (easy with uC debounce, "impossible" with RC debounce). There is a bit more to this than meet the eye. Erik |
