hi,
If you talk about MCU then most of them have idle/sleep/power down modes to save power. When you press a key then MCU come ups from power down mode, performs button debounce and does power on/off for rest of scheme. If we talk just about an idea so the simplest way I see is something like that: Here the first half of 7474 does debounce of switch SW1 and second half of chip does on/off function. RC net provides state OFF when standby power applies. Anyway, you should provide standby power for either MCU or scheme above. Regards, Oleg |
