#81866 - Regarding RD and RW pins |
I want to make an AND gate beetween the RD and RW pins on the microcontroller. I wanted to directly connect them together, and since the ports "1" is with a pullup,there shouldnt be any problem when one of the pins is on "0" and the other is on "1", like a wire and (i believe). However,im going to use these pins with the MOVX instructions, and im not sure weather the ports behaves different with these instructions (as for eg., port 0 is usually open drain, unless you use it with movx which engages a pullup). If anyone can tell me wether this will work (to avoid burning a microcontroller) that would be great.
