#81962 - Use an optocoupler
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Use an optocoupler with AC input like the Sharp PC-814 and put one resistor in serial: 150K will work with a low power or put an RC parallell (the resistor will discharge the capacitor when you diconect)

If you can do it in the low voltage side of the transformer
