Wouldn't you be better with the detect BEFORE the reservoir cap - then you get mains failure before you run out of time to do anything about it? He said he has battery backup - so that should give him time. But yes - sensing before the reservoir would certainly give an earlier warning. Sensing after the reservoir could mean that it'd miss very brief mains drop-outs - which may or may not be a good thing, depending on the application... |
