#82087 - USB Host Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Andy:
Take a quick look at the INT51X1 data on the web site. This device is primarily a bridge for USB and/or ETHERNET over power lines. In particular for USB the device would be used to extend a customized USB device to a host hookup. The company provides a driver for such a hookup with the reference design. Of course it is still a microcontroller to a PC connection!! As I mentioned before the use of this device for microcontroller to microcontroller communications is flawed and fundamentally way overkill. The original poster is fighting with how to use the 3rd brigde port of this chip at speeds that are probably a hundred or more times faster than what he needs. It would be far better for him to look at using something much simpler such as an X10 interface: http://www.parallax.com/detail.as...t_id=27940 http://zorinco.com/zweb?page=spix10 Michael Karas |
