#82207 - Why??? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have to ask the question why you would want a 8051 based board with ethernet and video? I can go to the local computer retailer and buy a small all-in-one pc motherboard that would be much cheaper in small quantities than your suggested board. If I wanted some analog and control features - then I would add a small microprocessor to it. The poor 8051 is not really suited to general purpose computing - use it for what it does best.
Sorry, but it's hard to compete with the mass market. Best be designing products that suit niche markets - high margin, low quantity. |
