it should work in industrial environment on 24 hours 365 days. PC board means software and hardisk crashes when power fails etc. i am not going to make any ritch graphics but simple display. very frame rate is ok. i have made 4 to 4 systems like that and changed four hard disks till date. size also matters. Another solution is to use Panel PC with the above features. but cost is high. -------- as for as this project is concerned i want to use two micros one for regular activities and one for Video. both should share same SRAM. how to implement it. Main CPU writes to SRAM and slave CPU reads from SRAM and displays. DPRAM is thoght of, but availability and cost making them not viable. i am planning to use TFT LCD with VGA input. thank you for your suggestion. Haribabu |
