Doh! Even Linux won't get you out of that one! The only thing you can (and should) do with spam is ignore it. If you have a spam filter, report it to your spam filter so it can tune its filters. Other than that clicking on any link in unsolicted email is dangerous. Personally if I didn't solicit something and it's mass-mailed I immediately report it as spam to my spam filter. If something gets through twice then I blacklist it and that's the last I hear of it. I'm not going to take any chances clicking on unsubscribe links to email distributions I never subscribed to in the first place. Regards, Craig Steiner |
