i have drawn a ckt diagram to connect the a276308a eprom to a P87C52SBPN.
Raghu, you were talking about reset controllers ( i didnt get where to use them) Let me tell you wht i have done... I have connected port 0( address /data bus) to the latch and also directly to the eprom's 8 I/O pins. From the latch the 8 pins are connected to A0 to A7 of the eprom. The port 2 pins(A8 to A15) are connected to A8-A15 of the eprom. PSEN bar is connected to OE bar.. Should CE bar be grounded or is there something else i should do?(in my diagram it is grounded) Also can I give a common Vcc to both the microcontroller and the eprom ? The ALE is connected to the latch.. Thats all i have done so far... I also have another basic doubt..Eprom is the program memory right ? Anyways thank you all very much for the support..Please tell me if any of this is wrong or if i have left out anything. -rahul :) |
