#8350 - Emus are fun ! |
I started programming the way Jay does. Now I sit back and I'm just thinking about the mistakes you can make in the checking routines for the checking routines... *g*
As the applications got more complex I was in the position to buy an emulator. I don't want to do my work without such an expensive but helpful thing anymore (though I got a lot of trouble with these guys from Ashling/Ireland). I want to focus on the target problems and I don't want to think about what micro resources are already used by the monitor or something. Every monitor gives you more restrictions than a (good) emulator. If you (or your boss) got the bucks you can have a lot of fun with features such as trace, code coverage, performance analysis... -> I love my emulator ! (ok, not as much as my Suzuki DR. BIG, but....) |
