in this cases I would do the same. I wouldn't like to connect my Emu to a sparking HV power supply. *britzel* Bad enough that our physicists sometimes kill one of my devices by a funny spark of their accelerator. But the poor little micros are always in good company. Usually with every 8051 some workstations and other expensive hardware goes to hell. 500 kV is a tiny thunderstorm. In all other cases an Emu is really cool. Surely Emus do restrict you, but less than any monitor running on your target. And, yes, if you use many different derivates it's simply a question of money how many micros you can emulate. |
