You could also use a very simple R-2R-ladder-DAC, like it's shown here:

Of course, such a thing can be much less precise than a 'real' DAC, for instance the one Steve recommended. All the resistors must highly match.

By the way, I remember that in the early eighties we once had to display the content of a PROM on scope using 'X', 'Y' and 'Z' inputs. We didn't use any real DAC, only a weigthed 'ladder-DAC', an '9368' and some LSTTL-chips. Worked very nicely and looked highly accurate...
