That sounds like a good idea. What do others think? Should I do this? If so, 1) Should it apply to all posts, 2) Should the option be able to be turned off by posters that don't want their messages to have links automatically inserted, 3) Should the option be available for users that read messages to turn the auto-linking function off?

I vote for option 2 and 3

You mean something to make reporting a specific message to the moderator easier than just sending us an email?
