What about making a "suggest for Tips&tricks" button; and if a post collects a predefined number of votes (say 10), a link to this post would be added into a (new) Tips&Tricks page.

When I saw the post Jan refer to, my first thought was "will this work, the source inpedance of the voltage will vary dramatically" - honestly - since my LCD experience is driving the chip, not the panel - I do not know.

Then we have the "you can use this instead of a MAX232(equivalent)" posts that get rated +22 for "useful" although anyone that has any experience know they will fail in many cases"

Thus, I am very weary of the voting idea.
