#84315 - Get 40,000 kHz T2 auto reload 12 mHz
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hello Rob,

You can get 40 kHz and 2400 baud by using an 8052 at 12 mHz in T2 in auto reload output mode (for 40 kHz) and T1 (for 2400 baud). I think you can double the baud to 4800 by setting some flag. See block diagram at this site for more information. http://members.aol.com/cpu8052/t...utmode.gif
                       Oscillator Frequency
Clock-Out Frequency = ------------------------------
                       4 x [65536 - (RCAP2H, RCAP2L)]

                       12,000,000
40,000 Hz = ------------------------------
                       4 x [65536 - (65461)]

Charles Bannister
