#85647 - interrupt timings ? Timer0&1 datasheet |
Dear all,
I dont find on the philips website a datasheet or application note describing the timer0&1 operations. All datasheets are only dealing with timer2 Is there any somewhere describing all the features of the classic T0 and T1 8051 timers ? I want to generate a very accurate long pulse on a pin and I would like to know the jitter occured by the Interrupt service routine. I guess when an interrupt request is set, the CPU has to wait the current instruction to be terminated and then to jump into the interrupt routine. The current instruction duration is defined by a number of CPU cycles. So I suppose the jitter can be between the minimum and maximum number of cycles of an instruction ? Stephane |
