There are some cases when it is not right. For example, if current instruction is RETI or it modifies either IE or IP register then at least one more instruction will be executed before an interrupt is vectored to.
I do not know about Philips but for Atmel This is standard behaviour, as specified in "the bible" I know of no chips that exempt this. Erik |
