#8590 - RE: which 8051 C compiler again again |
Hi Erik,
in my opinion execution of less code consume also less time. E.g. some compilers waste size and also speed with many useless PUSHing and POPing. So in my opinion the Keil generate also the fastest code. Also, if I use a loop, I want not, that the compiler remove the loop and repeat the loop code many times. Since the compiler can not know, if this loop was critical. Only I know it and then I can write a macro and repeat this macro. I am still interest on code comparison of my thermometer clock example. It fits into 2kB with the Keil. Please can anybody give me the number on using other compilers: <HTML> Alarm Clock with Thermometer </HTML> Peter |
