Hi Peter,
I agree with you on the IDE part, but I did not want to spend time on setting all the right options in a make file. Keil does a file wide register optimization, by recompiling sources as needed. Im not sure if your bat file re runs the compiler if needed (Im no batch expert)? Well I have decided to go for KEIL. It is the one generating the smallest code and it also seems to be the one wich many 8051 developers use Ohh for make I tend to use gnumake or the like... Thanks for the help everyone Henrik |
