Complexity noted, and I sure wouldn't want a senior project riding on it's success if I didn't have a scope and the proper diagnostic tools. But just for fun... Why not?
Also, I whonder where you get the $25 for ISP chips from, a quick look at digikey show the 89s51 at $1.78
Digikey adds a $5 handling order on orders less than $25... then add shipping. So I was off by a bit, that first 89s51 costs me about $10. The original poster is in India, so Digikey would add another $6 fee for international orders, plus there's probably local taxes and import fees. But there's probably a distributor over there. Sorry... I just ordered some stuff from California, and got burned by the extra handling charges for missing the minimum and then they slapped on $10 in shipping costs. So $15 worth of parts turned into $30... I'm married to an accountant... :D |
