#87575 - Lesson learned
Responding to: ???'s previous message
So looks like I'm about to scrap my ready built display and PCB.
Michael suggested going into another display with vertical dots scan using something like Samsung controller and using a Silabs microcontroller with something like 8KB ram to be used for shadow RAM.
I have 2 problems with this approach, long lead times for both the glcd and the silabs microcontroller.
long time to redesign the pcb and manufacture it.
and I have to waste my 5 displays which costed the guy I'm doing the project for about 600$ including postage and tax.
He can't complain because i'm doing this project for him for free.
