$99 is basically FREE.
Since Maneesh did not have the courtesy to enter his location in his profile, I can only guess that he may be in one of the parts of the world where $99 is a sizeable amount. There are places where a loaf of bread cost $0.10 and your pay matches that. Fact - not a political statement: Exchange rates makes no sense, Some govenments manipulate them for various reasons. If you compare what e.g. a busdriver makes based on the exchange rates, some of those better off will seem poor. The only realistic salary comparison is "loaves of bread per hour". Obviously, for that reason, the cost of a dev kit will vary greatly if calculated in "number of hours worked to pay for it" and can be quite expensive in some places. Erik |
